Lime is used to manage pH in soils and offer additional benefits:

Description
To adjust pH by 0.5, apply 30-100g/m² depending on soil type. Take care to avoid plant foliage. For normal soils, use every third year. Acidic soils may need annual application. As a precaution, it is advisable to keep children & pets away from treated areas for 72hrs. Store unused product in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
